What’s New in Sage 50 Accounts v24 ?

Sage 50 Accounts has already been a great tool for companies to effectively perform its accounting functions since its release several years ago.

With the new release (Sage 50 Accounts v24), it has been further improved based on Customer and Sage Business Partner feedback. No software out there can ever be absolutely perfect for everyone but Sage never cease trying to please everyone with their software and for this they should be commended.

 So….what’s new in Sage 50 Accounts v24 ?

 INTEGRATION WITH GO CARDLESS

Easily collect payments from Customers by Direct Debit.

HIDE UNUSED BANK AND NOMINAL ACCOUNTS

You can now mark these accounts as inactive so they don’t appear in main lists.

 COMPATIBILITY WITH HMRC’S NEW GATEWAY

The new Government Gateway is now in operation but the “old” gateway is due to be retired in February 2018

REMOVE DIRECT DEBIT SUPPLIERS FROM PAYMENT RUNS

If a Supplier is marked as paying by Direct Debit, then they will no longer appear in the payment run

 EXTENDED FIELD LENGTHS

The product web description has now been increased in size.

 AUTOMATED BANK RULES

Allows data to flow seamlessly into and automatically be matched in your Sage 50 Accounts v24 data.

 CONCLUSION

All in all, some great new extra features have been added to what was already a great piece of software. Well done to Sage and to the Business Partners and End Users that in part made these changes happen.
