UK Postage prices have increased from 4th April 2011 UK stamp prices for standard 1st Class letters are now 46p (an increase of 5p) and 2nd Class letters are now 36p (an increase of 4p). The 5p increase on 1st Class letters is the highest recorded rise in cash terms on 1st Class letters. The Institute of Commercial Management commented: “Unfortunately, as there are few alternatives, businesses have little choice but to accept the price rises.”...
